The Challenge
Carbon 3D had developed a revolutionary new continuous 3D printing technology that uses a combination of a high-tech polymer and a special light source to enable the production of incredibly precise, production ready objects. They needed something that accurately conveyed their incredibly innovative technology as well as positioning themselves as serious commercial partners.


The Solution
The concept was based in the idea of “a world fabricated with light”, with a brand identity and launch campaign designed to convey the merging of hardware, software, digital and physical that happened with their CLIP (Continous Light Interface Production) technology.


Results
The new brand was launched at the Annual AMUG conference to wide acclaim, and since then Carbon has gone on to raise nearly $300m in additional venture and PE funding, as well as launched innovative new product partnerships with Adidas and Vitamix amongst others.
